HarperOne (formerly HarperSanFrancisco) is a publishing imprint of HarperCollins, specializing in books on religion, spirituality, and personal growth, based in San Francisco.^[2] The imprint was founded in 1977 by 13 employees of New York based Harper & Row, who travelled west to San Francisco, which was at the time a center for alternative spirituality, including the New Age movement. The imprint changed its name in 2006 to HarperOne.^[3] In 2007, they partnered to publish the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible, from the United Church of Christ.^[4]

In c. 2008 the imprint hired a former Rodale Press executive, Nancy Hancock, to head expansion into the healthy living market.^[5]
