Hassan Shamaizadeh (Persian: حسن شماعی‌زاده, born November 22, 1943 in Isfahan, Iran) is a well known & popular Persian singer, songwriter,[1] composer, arranger, saxophonist, and pianist, he has composed more 600 songs, 150 of them were hits, he was one of the most popular male singers in Iran at the time. He is known for his compositions. Over the past three decades, he composed songs for artists like Googoosh, Dariush, Aref, Ebi, Farhad Mehrad, Mahasti, Moein, Leila Forouhar, Susan Roshan and many others.

At the age of 13, Shamaizadeh already played in a theater orchestra Esfehan . He then played in the Radio programs and Television in Tehran.

He continued to break record with artists like "Aghaaghi" from 1976 . He was selected as the most popular male artist in 1976 by readers of the magazine "Zan-e Rooz".
