Hassan Thikkodi is an Indian author from the state of Kerala. He is a poet, novelist, and short story writer. His notable works include Marubhoomi Pole Jeevitham, The Escape. Thikkodi is now working on a movie based on his book "The Escape".
Biography
Thikkodi, born in thalassery and was the second child of his parents. He had his schooling from Thikkodi High School. Thikkodi started writing while he was in 10th grade. Thikkodi got married to Vettukatil Fathima when he was 25 years old. He received S.K. Poteekkattu Award on 1998. Thikkodi worked in Kuwait as airlines Marketing and ticketing for Kuwait Airways till he retired in 2009 . From Kuwait he continued with his writing career.
Thikkodi was in Kuwait when Saddam Hussein had control over Kuwait. When he was about to go to India, Hussein's army blocked their aircraft and took all the passengers to a hidden place. No one was able to contact him. He was in their custody for around 18 months.[1] On July 2012 he wrote a novel based on his experience he wrote a novel. Thikkodi is now working on the script for a movie based on his recent book "The Escape".
