Heavy Rescue: 401 is an upcoming Canadian reality TV show that follows the operations of multiple heavy vehicle rescue and recovery towing companies, along with the support from the OPP, Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, and York Regional Police, based in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario region.[1] The show focuses on the hardships of operating along Ontario's 400-series highways.

History

Following the success of Highway Thru Hell, show creator Mark Miller began production in early 2016. The first episode aired on October 10, 2016 on Discovery Channel (Canada), with the show officially set to debut in 2017 in Canada.[1]
