Hejaaz International School in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka provides English Medium education (Cambridge/Local) to boys and girls in separate campuses in an Islamic environment. The School was started in 1994 by two hard working and experienced Educationists. At its inception, there were only 3 teachers and 17 students, but this has massively changed in the past. The school is home to over 1000 students and over 60 teachers, with 3 branches. The boys' school is in Mt. Lavinia and the girls' schools are in Dehiwala. Students not only from Sri Lanka, but also from the Middle East, Maldives and other Asian countries attend this school due to the excellence in education.

Societies and Clubs

Prefects in the school

The school selects students as prefects, giving them bigger responsibilities. Junior prefects are selected from grade 10 onwards, while existing junior prefects get promoted as Senior prefects and as a head prefect. A total of 12 prefects are selected per academic year.

Sportsmeet Teams(Houses)

There are three houses.

  1. Bathutha - Blue Colour
  2. Khaldun - Yellow Colour
  3. Thabari - Red Colour
