Changes during National Mourning

To respect the passing of the founding father Lee Kuan Yew, who died of pneumonia at 3.18am on 23 March 2015 (Monday), like all other Channel 8 news programmes, the opening sequence has changed. From 23 to 27 March 2015, the opening graphics were toned down and music from the sequence was replaced by melancholic music. The 23 to 26 March episodes were hosted by Qi Qi and Focus presenter Chun Guek Lay, while the 27 March episode was hosted by Kenneth Kong and Jeffery Low. There were two or three segments as shown below.

Changes during GE2015

Special arrangements were being made during GE2015. Details are as follows:

Hello Singapore is shortened to 30 minutes, which consists of two news segments. Following that, the show ends for the day to air the 'live' political forum Singapore Votes 2015 - Your Vote Matters at 7.00pm.

The arrangement for the two days are such that the two news segments are shown first, afterwards, the hosts will walk viewers through each part of Singapore Votes 2015 - Campaign Report before they are shown.

Prior to the live coverage of the Polling Day report at 8.30pm, Hello Singapore presented the two news segments at 6.30pm. Following that, the show ends for the day to air 118 at 7.00pm, 2 episodes back-to-back (Episode 229 / 230).
