Highbury Preparatory School is a private school for boys located in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
History
Highbury was founded in 1903 by Sibella Douglas McMillan. It was named after Highbury House School in England, which was established by Sibella McMillan's father, the Rev Charles Duff, in 1865. The school is located on the outskirts of the suburb of Hillcrest, overlooking the Valley of a Thousand Hills.
Many of its school leavers go on to attend top private high schools, particularly, Hilton College, Kearsney College and Michaelhouse.
Highbury has a non-denominational Christian ethos.
A student population of about 550 boys attend Highbury on its 11 hectare estate.

Highbury Today
Highbury accepts day pupils up to grade 7. It has a pupil-teacher ratio of 13:1.
Richard Stanley who succeeded Mr Clarence in 1994, was followed by the current headmaster, Brendan Carroll in January 2015.
Highbury, has a co-educational pre-primary school called the Weavers' Nest at Highbury. From 2017 boys and girls who are 2 turning 3 will enrol in the first grade 0000 class.
