Hollandia Yoghurt is a low fat dairy product from Chi Limited. Hollandia Yoghurt is made from a blend of yoghurt and fruits. Hollandia Yoghurt is available in 6 variants: Orange, Strawberry, Pineapple Coconut, Plain Sweetened, Pure & Plain and Green Apple. The variants come in 1 Litre, 500ml, 315ml, 250ml, and 180ml Tetra Pak.[1]

Consumer review

Some Nigerian consumers have given reviews about the brand. One, in an interview with The Nation, said the brand “tastes very nice”, and didn’t leave her with an after-taste so common with other products she had tried in the past. Another commended the on-the-go pack size offered by the brand as it fits her busy lifestyle.[2]

Hollandia Yoghurt signed an endorsement deal with multiple award winning Nigerian musician, Seyi Shay, making her the face of the brand on marketing communication materials. She was the lead character in the “It’s All Good” campaign.[3]

Nutritional benefits of Hollandia Yoghurt

Hollandia Yoghurt is rich in Vitamins and Minerals, as its nutritional and caloric contents are similar to those of the fluid milk from which it is made.[4] Yoghurt consumers get a dose of animal protein (about 9 grams per 6-ounce serving), plus several other nutrients found in dairy foods, like calcium, vitamins A, vitamin B-2, vitamin B-12, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. In fact, one serving of yoghurt contains about as much potassium as a banana (around 400 mg) and is rich in "probiotics" which are "friendly bacteria" that are naturally present in the digestive system. Findings from research have revealed that these probiotics can help boost the immune system and promote a healthy digestive tract.[5] This is why its communication is centred on experiencing the taste, feeling the goodness within and flaunting the goodness outside.

Hollandia Yoghurt unveils ‘It’s All Good’ campaign

Launched in January 2015, Hollandia Yoghurt sought to reach out to its consumers on its communication as the drink that is filled with “goodness” with the campaign tagged – “It’s all Good”. The campaign also included its brand ambassador who said “’Hollandia Yoghurt gives me improved energy levels for non-stop performance”.[7]

Hollandia yoghurt unveils new 315ml “Grab n Go Packs”

Hollandia Yoghurt in February 2016 introduced its new 315ml SKU. Referred to as Grab ‘n’ Go Packs, these packs were specifically tailored to meet the needs of the consumer, whether they are in traffic and need to be on the go, or having a snack or need to create a perfect mix with their other drinks. These new Grab n Go packs are only available in Plain Sweetened, Pure and Plain, and Strawberry flavours. The Strawberry flavour is tagged “Gogurt”,[8] plain sweetened tagged “Mixology” [9] and the Pure and plain tagged “Slurp it off”.[10]
