Horizon Power is a commercially focused, State Government-owned, power company that provides power supplies to Western Australia. It is responsible for generating, procuring, distributing and retailing electricity to residential, industrial and commercial customers and resource developments in its service area.

It was established in 2006 during reforms to Western Australia's electricity sector.

Horizon Power manages one major interconnected system, the North West Interconnected System (NWIS), and a continuously growing number of non-interconnected systems in regional towns and remote communities.

Its service area, which is outside the south west corner of the State, is 2,300,000 square kilometres (890,000 sq mi) and covers the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Mid West and southern Goldfields (Esperance) regions. Horizon Power operates from a head office in Karratha in the Pilbara region and has additional offices in Kununurra, Broome, Port Hedland, Carnarvon, Esperance and Perth.

Horizon Power has some 100,000 residential customers, and some 10,000 business customers[1] via about 46,000 customer connection points. It is the electricity provider and retailer for 31 regional towns and a growing number of remote communities.
