Houda Echouafni

Houda Echouafni is an Arab-British actress of Moroccan and Egyptian origin .[1][2]

Echouafni co-hosted the Pepsi Chart Show for the Middle East. At the same time, she became the voice behind the Nickelodeon cartoon presenter FACE. She also presented a daily children's program for the Saudi Arabian terrestrial channel and a fashion and lifestyle programme for a Lebanese network. While attending the London Centre for Theatre Studies, Houda began filming Penny Woolcock's The Death of Klinghoffer in Malta. Other roles include Doctors, Waking the Dead and Hotel Babylon.

Houda has recently been working with the Royal Court, translating and acting in plays for their international season. This has resulted in one of her translations being published this year in the book Plays from the Arab World by Nick Hern Books.
