Hourglass Lake

Not to be confused with the artificial lake located in the Walt Disney World Resort between Disney's Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts.

Hourglass Lake (77°21′S 161°3′E / 77.350°S 161.050°E / -77.350; 161.050Coordinates: 77°21′S 161°3′E / 77.350°S 161.050°E / -77.350; 161.050) is a small meltwater lake midway between Webb Lake and Lake Vashka in Barwick Valley, Victoria Land, Antarctica. The descriptive name was given in 1964 by American geologist Parker E. Calkin and alludes to the outline of the lake.[1]
