Hum Hum Waterfall

Hum Hum is a waterfall in Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. It was discovered in 2010. It is situated in Razkandi reserve forest, Maulvibazar district, Sylhet.[1]

The height of the fall is about 147 to 160 feet.[1]

Travel Guide

From Sreemangal Upazila city you have to hire a jeep or any other vehicle to reach Madhabpur which takes an hour. After reaching Madhabpur you must hire a tour guide who will guide you to Hum Hum.[2] From Madhabpur you have to walk at least 4 hours through hills and rivers to reach the waterfall. The road becomes very dangerous sometimes, so you must prepare yourself well.

In dry season, when it's not raining much, the road to Hum Hum can be much smoother. Even the risk factors become less. When the hills are dry and the lake that comes from the waterfall has less water, it takes around 3 to 3.5 hours of walk to get to Hum Hum. But as it's not a rainy season the waterfall's beauty is far from the real one. When it's raining regularly, if you take the road to Hum Hum, the road will be hard. The hills will be stacking with mud. It get very slippery. There is life risk in some parts where you can fall of from 1000 feet. Also the lake becomes full in water. And you have to walk through it. After 4 to 5 hours of walk, finally when you reach the waterfall, the beauty becomes indescribable.
