Sir Humphrey Coningsby, (d. 2 June 1535), was an English lawyer and Justice of the King's Bench.[1][2]
Humphrey Coningsby was born in England, the son of Thomas Coningsby and his wife, Katharine Waldiffe. His family came from northern Worcestershire.
He was a lawyer by the 1480s.[3] One May 21, 1509, he became a Justice of the King's Bench, and held that position until November 28, 1533. He was knighted by King Henry VIII during his tenure.
Coningsby died on 2 June 1535.
He and his wife, Alice Ferebie, had eight children. Their son, William Coningsby, was also a Justice of the King's Bench.
