Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College is a sixth-form college on Clarendon Road in Hyde in the metropolitan borough of Tameside.
In October 2015, the college was to move to a new building in Ashton town centre. The move will see more than 3000 students and 300 teachers being relocated to the centre of Ashton.
The building contractors completing the build are Kier and the building will be officially opened on 6 October 2015. All staff and students currently studying at Hyde Clarendon will be relocated to the new building once it is complete.
History
Originally Hyde County Grammar School for Boys, this educational establishment closed its doors to 11-year-olds in 1979. When the last intake had progressed to the Sixth Form, the Sixth Form college was formally established. It was during this period that the now highly acclaimed "Dominion" rock band was formed by students at the college. The Brand Name 'Hyde Clarendon' was added some years later and derives from the college's location on Clarendon Road.
Hyde Clarendon delivers a mixture of A-Level and vocational qualifications.
It is now part of Tameside College, a larger further education college based on Beaufort Road in Ashton-under-Lyne.

- Melvyn Bowler MACS CMC GDHRE (at HCGS 1953-1958) Counsellor and Therapist - pioneered experiential therapy in Australia - produced videos to help counsellors and parents deal with troubled or addicted children.
- Tom Cassell (better known as Syndicate or The Syndicate Project), popular gaming commentator on YouTube. He left the college to pursue his YouTube career and has since amassed over 9.9 million subscribers.
