The ITV Turquoise is a French two-place, paraglider that was designed by Xavier Demoury and produced by ITV Parapentes of Épagny, Haute-Savoie. It is now out of production.^[1]

Design and development

The Turquoise The aircraft was designed as a tandem glider for flight training and as such was referred to as the Turquoise Bi, indicting "bi-place" or two seater. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.^[1]

Variants

Turquoise 38 Bi

Small-sized model for lighter crews. Its 12.9 m (42.3 ft) span wing has a wing area of 38 m² (410 sq ft), 46 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 110 to 180 kg (243 to 397 lb).^[1]

Turquoise 43 Bi

Large-sized model for heavier crews. Its 13.8 m (45.3 ft) span wing has a wing area of 43 m² (460 sq ft), 46 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 130 to 210 kg (287 to 463 lb). The glider model is IA Standard certified.^[1]
