Ida Schnall

Ida Schnall (1888 - 14 February 1973) was the captain of the New York Female Giants baseball team and later a Hollywood actress.[1][2]

Biography

The 1912 Summer Olympics were opened to female divers and swimmers, but Schnall and other women were barred from participating by James Edward Sullivan of the United States Olympic Committee.[1][3][4] She died on 14 February 1973 in Los Angeles, California.[5]
