Idyros

Idyros (Latin: Idyrus) was an ancient Greek city in Lycia. Its exact location is uncertain. According to Pseudo-Scylax it was located north of Phaselis. The Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World lists two possible locations for the city. One at the location of modern Kemer, at 36°36′9.4″N 30°33′35.31″E / 36.602611°N 30.5598083°E / 36.602611; 30.5598083 on the coast.[1] The other possible location is at an uncertain position much further inland.[2]
