In Touch Networks is an online technology company based in Manchester, England. The company operates a group of professional networks for senior executives and freelance professionals. Its services are primarily focused on recruitment, connecting its members with off-market jobs and providing training through events and e-learning.[1] Its chairman is JLA Group founder John Laithwaite,[2] a member of the Sunday Times Rich List.[3]

In 2016, In Touch Networks placed 39th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards, recognising it as one of the fastest growing technology businesses in the UK.[4]

History

In Touch Networks launched its first network, NonExecutiveDirectors.com, in 2013.[5] It attracted attention by allowing companies to recruit non-executive directors free of charge, saving them significant recruitment fees. Early adopters of the service included the NHS and the Cabinet Office.[6] A US version of the network, OutsideDirectors.net, was launched the same year.

Having established NonExecutiveDirectors.com as the UK's largest non-executive director network,[7] the company expanded into other sectors, launching TheConsultantHub.com and FinanceDirectorNetwork.com.[8]

2016 saw a major expansion of the company. It launched two new networks, InvestorDirector.com and WomenDirectors.com,[9] and NonExecutiveDirectors.com expanded into the US, merging with the OutsideDirectors.net platform.[10] The company also launched its executive e-learning platform, In Touch Development,[11] and founded a charity, In Touch Futures.[12]

As of November 2016, In Touch Networks has more than 26,000 members.[13]
