Insignificant others

Insignificant Others is an original musical by San Francisco composer and lyricist L. Jay Kuo. This romantic comedy follows the stories of five friends—Margaret, Jeannine, Kristen, Jordan and Luke—who move to San Francisco from the Midwest.

ISO’s Development

ISO began as a staged reading in May 2005 in San Francisco. In October 2005, ISO received a Theatre Bay Area CA$H grant. The show then moved to the New Conservatory Theatre Center, playing during July 2006. ISO was awarded Best Original Musical Script by the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle for 2006.[1] ISO opened February 16, 2008 at PIER 39 in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.
