Institut supérieur de l'aéronautique et de l'espace

The Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE) is the name for the French aerospace engineering school (grande école) in Toulouse part of University of Toulouse, ISSAT, PEGASUS, GEA, Toulouse Tech, CESAER[1] and Aerospace Valley, resulting from the so-called "rapprochement" (merger) between SUPAERO and ENSICA [2](more details can be found on the pages devoted to each of those institutions). The merger took place in the summer of 2007. The aim of this move was to increase the international visibility of SUPAERO and the ENSICA (both of which depend from the French Ministry of Defense), by sharing their faculty and experimental means.

The Groupe ISAE associates also ENSMA, ESTACA, and École de l'air.
