Irena Trečiokaitė-Žebenkienė

Irena Trečiokaitė-Žebenkienė (October 28, 1909 - January 13, 1985 Vilnius) was a Lithuanian painter.[1][2]

Biography

In 1928, she finished high school, in 1928-1932 Vytautas Magnus University, she studied law. In 1935, she graduated from Kaunas Art School. In 1944, she graduated from Vilnius Art Institute.[3]

Beginning in 1944, she taught at the Vilnius Institute of Fine Arts, 1947 was Associate Professor, 1948–1951, was the Drawing Head of the Department, in 1951-1969 taught decorative painting in the Department of Painting.[4]

In 1949, 1959, 1964 and 1979, she had solo exhibitions in Vilnius.
