Island Crisis

Island Crisis is a Mauritian website that runs breaking news stories and articles about oddities, scientific wonders, technology, internet and is mostly famous for its very satirical tone.

The website was founded in 2008 by Blogger Kurt Avish from Mauritius. In May 2010, Island Crisis established a contract with news wire BNO News and began syndicating breaking news stories[1] but reverted to its original editorial work plan in January 2011. The site's main audience is mostly from the United States, India, and Mauritius.

Island Crisis is a contributor-generated website and most of its articles are written by a set of internal authors, collaborators and bloggers.
