Ispahani Public School & College, Chittagong commonly referred to as IPSC is a well known private educational institution on Zakir Hossain Road in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The institution offers primary, secondary and higher secondary education facilities under the Chittagong Education Board. Founded by Mirza Ahmad Ispahani in 1979 the institution is widely known for its excellent results in S.S.C. and H.S.C. exams and its discipline.

History

The school started its journey in 1981 with a three storied building having students of KG-1 to class Eight. By this time the school grew with lots of multistoried buildings, Science laboratory, Library, Sports room and extended its level up to Higher Secondary. In 1989 the school achieved the status of a full pleasant Public School and starts offering primary secondary and Higher Secondary education facilities under the Chittagong Education Board from the academic year of 1989-90. The student first appeared in S.S.C exam in 1985 and H.S.C exam in 1991. Now the institution is widely known for its excellent result in S.S.C. and H.S.C. exam and its discipline{cn}.

Admission

School admission

From 2016, the institution decided to set class-3 as the entry level. And from 2016, IPSC authorities started English version(NC) also. ^[1]

College admission

Every year IPSC takes around 200+ students in science, business studies and humanities.^[2]

Co-curricular Activities

From the founding of this institution,the students of IPSC are very active in co-curricular activities. They have gained success in debate,programming,quiz,singing,Math Olympiad,playing etc. To encourage the students in different fields, the institution reserved one day(Saturday) for co-curricular activities from this year(2016). There are about 12 clubs in this renowned institution.

Library

The school has approximately 2000 books for its students. including all types of text books from 3 to 12 Class, dictionaries, general knowledge, magazine etc.

Laboratory

Institution has Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Computer laboratory, one of each kind.

Cultural Function

Every year IPSC arranges sports week and prize giving ceremony & cultural function in the month of February in its playground.
