Ivan Ângelo

Ivan Ângelo (born February 4, 1936, in Barbacena, Minas Gerais province) is a Brazilian writer who has worked as a novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. He won the Prêmio Jabuti for his books A festa (The Celebration) and Amor? and has received awards from the Association of Art Critics of São Paulo for A face horrivel and Pode me beijar se quiser.[1] He is the former editor of the Jornal da Tarde and has written a regular column for the weekly São Paulo newsmagazine Veja since 1999. He has also lectured at Yale University.
