Jāṭharaparivṛttāsana

Jatharaparivrttasana is an Asana. It is translated as Abdominal Twist Podr from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "jathara" meaning "stomach", "parivrtta" meaning "revolved", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2][3][4]

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has many benefits. It stimulates the internal organs, loosens the spine and helps one relax. It also stretches the outside of the hips and the glutes.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have a spinal, neck or hip injury.[5][6][7]
