Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad College of Engineering Sultanpur Campus (JNTUH CES or JNTS) is a University, focusing on engineering, located in Sultanpur(V), Pulkal(M), Sangareddy (D), Telangana, India. Founded in 2012.A new milestone in the history of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is the beginning of another Constituent Engineering College situated at Sultanpur in Sangareddy District from the Academic Year 2012-13.

The University is situated in the heart of the Sultanpur at Pulkal(M), Sangareddy dist. It has ‘A’ grade accreditation by the (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It has an intake of about 240 students.

Administration

This university consists of the constituent and affiliated colleges. The main officers and councils of the university are Chancellor, Vice-chancellor, Rector, Executive council and Academic Senate. The Governor of Telangana is the Chancellor of the university. The Principal of JNTUH CES is

Academics

JNTUH College of Engineering Sultanpur has taken up an initiative to start new Branches at B.Tech level in Mechanical Engineering in Material Science and Nano technology. in Civil Engineering 80% with specialization in Environmental Engineering 20%, apart from regular B.Tech Courses in ECE and CSE.

History

Initially, temporary class work is started at Tara Government College in Sangareddy {2012-2014} which is equipped with all required infrastructural facilities viz., Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab. Well-qualified and experienced staff are deputed from JNTUH., Kukatpally to take classes for the first year students. JNTUH has initiated to set up new Drawing Hall, IT Lab, Mechanical Workshop and English Lab in the same premises. Planning and execution of new buildings, engineering labs, hostels and sports facilities are taken up by experienced technical team under the able guidance of Honble Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, JNTUH.

Campus

The JNTUH College of Engineering Sultanpur Campus major buildings with a combined area of more than 220 acres with 330 Crores Budget. About 55 km from the Hyderabad city and Secunderabad Railway Station and Just 15 km from IIT Hyderabad.

Each department has got its own independent buildings, departmental Libraries and seminar halls. The common facilities such as Auditorium, Guest House, a Branch of Andhra Bank, Extension counter of SBH, Staff Quarters, Principal Quarter, Canteen, Power House with 140 KV A Generator connected to all buildings including Hostels.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities with 6 boys hostels containing 3 dining halls and 3 girls hostels containing 1 dining hall within the campus.

The boys' hostels have a total boarding capacity of 960 students (each room 2 members only) while the girls' hostel accommodates 480 girl students. Deputy wardens are available in the campus. Power house with 140 KV generator connected to all hostel buildings.

Student activities

SAHAYEE (Sultanpur Association for Helping Alms by Young Emerging Engineers) is the Jntu sultanpur association for helping the needy. SAHAYEE is the activity run by the students of all branches and all years. A group of students come forward and work on any social causes like enhancing the hygiene in rural areas, contributing the schools with computer knowledge and general awareness, visiting old age homes to participate with them to celebrate national events like 15 August and 26 January etc.

Amelioration website is the Annual day of Jntu Sultanpur. The first edition was held on 29 April 2013. The theme for this edition was "...to grow better".

AMELIORATION is the TECHNO-CULTURAL FEST of the Jntu hyd Sultanpur Campus. Telangana's largest TECHNO-CULTURAL Fest organized by the student community of JNTUH Sultanpur. The First edition is from 9-11 April 2015 held by First Batch Students.

JPL (Jntu Premier League) is the Cricket Association of JNTS.

Transportation

The JNTU Hyderabad University provides Daily 4 Buses timings: 8:15 am for management, staff and for Students from the JNTUH Kukatpally Campus to JNTUH Sultanpur campus.
