Jaco is a 2014 American documentary film that depicts the life and death of jazz musician Jaco Pastorius. The film is directed by Paul Marchand and Stephen Kijak, and was co-produced by Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo; along with John Battsek of Passion Pictures. It features interviews with musicians such as Sting, Joni Mitchell, Flea, Jerry Jemmott, Bootsy Collins, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, and never-before-seen photos and film from the Pastorius family archive.[1][2][3]
