Career highlights

Jake Lever (born 5 March 1996) is a professional Australian rules football player who plays for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Lever was drafted with pick 14 of the 2014 National Draft, after having missed the entire year previously due to a knee injury.[1]

AFL career

Lever made his debut against Gold Coast in round 6 of the 2015 season.[2] In round 17, against the same opposition, Lever recorded 24 disposals at 92% efficiency, 10 marks and 7 rebound 50s and was thus nominated for the 2015 AFL Rising Star award in just his seventh game.[3] In total he played 12 games in his first year, impressing with his maturity and professional approach, for which he was awarded the club's Dr Brian Sando OAM Trophy.[4] Late in the year he signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2017.[5] [6]
