James Gaddas (born 17 June 1960 in Ragworth, Stockton-on-Tees, County Cleveland) is an English actor best known for playing Governing Governor Neil Grayling in ITV's Bad Girls. Prior to Bad Girls, Gaddas played Vinnie Sorrell in Coronation Street.
Since leaving Bad Girls, Gaddas has appeared as Jackie Elliot in 'Billy Elliot the Musical, productions of "Peter Pan" and Spamalot and is currently playing Bill Anderson in Mamma Mia! in London.
James Gaddas has also made appearances on The Bill, Tracy Beaker Returns, Medics, Dogtown, BBC's daytime soap Doctors and Waterloo Road. and in 2015, He is in Emmerdale, playing Ged, who is a prisoner awaiting trial for murder.
Gaddas is a member of the Conservative Party and was selected as a candidate for Stockton South in the 2005 UK general election, but finished in second place behind Labour's Dari Taylor after gaining 34.1% of the vote.
James is married to Deborah Gaddas, with whom he has a daughter, Cate.
