Bristol Rovers

2013-14

On 21 April, Lucas made his professional debut against Rochdale towards the end of the season. He came off the bench in the 79th minute, replacing Tom Parkes.[2] Rovers lost the game 2-1, which contributed towards their eventual relegation from the Football League - the first time since their acceptance in 1920.[3]

2014-15

On 8 August, Lucas joined Conference South side Weston-super-Mare on a one-month loan deal.[4] He made his debut the next day in a 1-0 defeat to Bishop's Stortford.[5] His first goal for the Seagulls came in a 3-2 victory over Farnborough on 11 August.[6] On 25 August, Lucas scored his second goal for Weston, which earnt his team a 1-0 victory over Staines Town.[7] On 5 September, Rovers agreed to extend Lucas' loan by two months.[8] He went on to score against Hemel Hempstead,[9] Ebbsfleet United,[10] and Maidenhead United[11] bringing his tally to five goals in 13 appearances.

On 28 November, Lucas joined Conference North side Gloucester City on loan until the new year.[12] Lucas made six appearances for the Tigers but failed to find the net.

On 12 February, Lucas returned to Weston-super-Mare on loan.[13] Lucas scored his first career hat-trick in a 4-3 win over Bishop's Stortford,[14] a performance that helped him to win Conference South player of the month for February.[15] Lucas' goalscoring form continued with a brace against Havant & Waterlooville[16] followed by goals against both Bath City[16] and Basingstoke Town[17] before his return to parent club Bristol Rovers[18] having scored seven goals in eight appearances during his second Weston-super-Mare spell.

2015-16

On 7 August, Lucas signed for new National League side Boreham Wood. He made his debut the next day and scored in the 3-1 win over Halifax Town. After a couple of successful loan spells, Bristol Rovers called Lucas back. Lucas came on as a late substitute against Plymouth Argyle F.C. replacing Jermaine Easter. [19] Lucas rejoined Boreham Wood F.C. on loan until the end of the season.[20]
