Biography

Peres came to prominence in the early 2000s with the launch of his gallery, Peres Projects. Founded by Peres in San Francisco, California in 2002, Peres Projects is a gallery and art dealership focused on promoting contemporary artists to an international audience. The gallery has also presented numerous exhibitions of the influential American artists Mike Bouchet, Dorothy Iannone and Mark Flood. Recently, the gallery has begun to promote the work younger artists such as Donna Huanca and Melike Kara, as well as mid career American artist Blair Thurman.

Since its inception, the gallery has focused on championing artists early in their careers as well as repositioning lesser known, yet influential mid and late career artists.
