Jay Mehta is a former Indian actor, who primarily worked in Hindi films. He is the son of Hindi producer Pranlal Mehta.
Career
Jay Mehta was launched by Priyadarshan in Muskurahat, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster opposite Revathi, but the film flopped hurting Mehta's career. His further films like Zid, Betaaj Badshah, Policewala Gunda and Mafia also failed at the box office, halting his career as an actor. He continued in the industry as a producer.
