Jean Girel
Jean Girel (born in 1947) is a French ceramic artist.[1]
Biography
After studying fine arts at Mâcon and receiving a diploma in fine arts in Paris, he discovered ceramics, and became particularly interested in the ceramics from the Song period, which became the basis for his work beginning in 1975 in his studio near Cluny in Burgundy.
