Jeff Panacloc
Damien Colcanap, better known as Jeff Panacloc is a French ventriloquist and stand-up comedian born on 8 September 1986 in Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes (Seine-et-Marne).
Biography
Former electrician, Damien Colcanap met the French ventriloquist David Michel at the age of 18 in a Parisian cabaret. This was a true eye-opener that made him want to take an interest in ventriloquism and to make a living of it.
When he was 23, he decided to completely dedicate himself to ventriloquism, and took Jeff Panacloc as stage name (which is his surname's anagram). He wrote his first show, Jeff Panacloc et Jean-Marc (Jeff Panacloc and Jean-Marc), and performed it for 4 months at Le Temple Theatre. Jean-Marc, his puppet, is a politically incorrect, rude and corrupted monkey who has some famous replies like "il est content !" (he's happy!) and "salut les trouducs !" (Hi assholes!).
Jean-Marc
Jean-Marc, Jeff Panacloc's puppet, is very rude and insults the audience (he tells them they are trouducs (assholes)) while he is on stage or even during TV shows. A fan club was also created and is managed by a fan: Team Trouduc (Team Assholes).
Before summer 2015, Jeff and Jean-Marc released a single called J'temmerde which they sang during Patrick Sébastien's TV show "Fête de la musique, du soleil et des tubes" on France2. Approximately one year before, Jeff and Jean-Marc had made a single which was called "J'suis quand même beau" (Anyway, I'm handsome).
