Jerry Mynatt is an American football coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Mynatt was the head college football coach in eastern Kentucky for the Pikeville Bears located in Pikeville, Kentucky. He held that position for 3 seasons, from 2003 until 2005. His coaching record at Pikeville was 20 wins and 12 losses. Finishing his last 2 seasons with 16 wins and 4 losses and the school's first ever and only playoff bid. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #1 at Pikeville in total wins and #1 at the school in winning percentage (.625).[1]
Jerry Mynatt is listed as the Passing Game Coordinator and or Wide Receivers coach at East Tennessee State University from 1997 until 2002 and his name shows up on the following rosters as a coach or player: Carson-Newman College, Elon University, Orlando Predators, Charleston Southern University, East Tennessee State University.Brevard College.
Jerry Mynatt was selected as one of the "Hottest Coaches in America" in 2005 by American Football Monthly. Mynatt was also voted the Coach of the Year in the Mid-South Conference the same year.
