Joe L. Stortini (born 1932) is an American former politician in the state of Washington. He served the 8th district from 1991 to 1995.

Education

He attended University of Puget Sound, where he played both Football and Baseball, and Oregon State University and was a teacher.[1]

Career

Stortini started his career as a public high school teacher in the Tacoma Public School district where he worked from 1955 - 1975.[2]

Controversy

Joe Stortini's affair with Susan Websted was brought to light when he made a 911 call to her house after she overdosed at her home. [3]
