Joseph W. "Joe" Walton (born 1884, date of death unknown) was an English professional association football player of the early twentieth century.
Walton was born in North Shields, and years later he joined Sheffield Wednesday in 1903 from a minor team in Wallsend but never started a match for the "Owls" in The Football League.[1] In 1904 he joined New Brompton of the Southern League, where he played regularly for two seasons.[2] He then moved to Chelsea, who had joined The Football League a year earlier. He made over 50 appearances for the club before moving on once again to Swansea Town, his last known club.[1]
