John Martin (born 4 December 1946) is an English former footballer who played as a winger in The Football League.
Career
Born in Ashington,[1] Martin made one appearance for Aston Villa before making appearances in the Football League for Colchester United, Southport and Workington, where he made over 200 league appearances[2]
Martin lived in Tenerife from 1997. In 2006 he was diagnosed with cancer. He died in November 2013.[3]
