Jonathan B. Barry

Jonathan B. Barry (born June 20, 1945) is an American Democratic politician, businessman, and farmer from Wisconsin.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Barry graduated from Shorewood High School. In 1967, he graduated from University of Wisconsin–Madison. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1977-1981 and was on the Dane County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors. From 1981-1987, he was County Executive of Dane County. He owns a farm in Dane County and is a businessman. In November 2015, Barry was appointed executive secretary of the Wisconsin Board of Land Commissioners. Barry also had served as deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.[1][2][3]
