Jonathan Bowman

Jonathan Bowman (May 26, 1826 – July 16, 1895) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Born in Charleston, New York, Bowman graduated from the State and National Law School in Ballston Spa, New York in 1850. He then moved to Delton, Wisconsin, in 1851, where he practiced law and was in several businesses. He was President of the Bank of Kilbourn in Kilbourn City, Wisconsin (now Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin).[1] Bowman was a member of the Assembly in 1862 and again in 1874 and was a member of the Senate from the 25th district from 1863 to 1866. He was a Republican. He died in Kilbourn City, Wisconsin.[2]
