Jong Thae-yang, also spelled Jong Tae Yang, is a North Korean diplomat. He currently serves as the deputy chief of the US Affairs Bureau of the Foreign Ministry.[1] He has frequently been involved in international talks,[2][3][4][5] including the Six Party Talks.[6][7]

Before he served in this position, Jong had worked for North Korea's embassy tin Namibia.[8]
