Jovan Adepo is an English-American actor. He is best known for playing Michael Murphy in the HBO television series The Leftovers. In 2016, he will co-star in the Denzel Washington-directed drama film Fences.[1]
Early life
Adepo was born in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, to a British mother and an American father. He attended college at Bowie State University in Maryland, receiving his B.A. in political science and philosophy. Since then, Jovan has studied acting under the tutelage of a variety of notable instructors, including Dianne Hull of the Actors Studio.[2]
