Juan Carlos "Ranchero" Ramírez (born April 24, 1977 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the lightweight division. He is the former NABF Featherweight, WBO Inter-Continental Featherweight, and the Mexican National Super Bantamweight and Featherweight Champion.[1]
Pro career
WBC Featherweight Championship
In August 1998, Ramírez dropped a technical decision to Luisito Espinosa. The bout was for the WBC Featherweight Championship and stopped due to an accidental headbutt.[2]
WBC Super Bantamweight Championship
On May 8, 1999 Juan lost to WBC Super Bantamweight Champion, Érik Morales. The bout was at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.[3]
