Julian Dobbenberg (born 20 August 1995),[1] commonly known by his stage name Julian Jordan, is a Dutch DJ, composer, musician and record producer. He is best known for his collaboration with Martin Garrix for the track "BFAM"[2] and for the track "Rage", a corroboration with fellow Dutchmen, Firebeatz and Sander van Doorn, which was released in February 2015.
Early life and music career
Julian went to the same school as Martin Garrix, Herman Brood Academy which was a production school in Utrecht. The young Dutch began his career in 2011, when he was only 15 years. He was signed by Dutch label Spinnin' Records a year later, and rose to fame with electro house productions such as Slenderman, BFAM with Martin Garrix and Kangaroo with Sander van Doorn.[3]
On 16 February 2015 he released the track Rage, a collaboration with fellow Dutch DJs Firebeatz and Sander van Doorn.[4]
In April 2015, he released the single Blinded by the Light featuring vocals from Alice Berg[5] and in August 2015 he released his single Lost Words.[6] He made his final releases of the year in November 2015 Feel The Power featuring Stino. and All Night[7] He left Spinnin' Records due to contract disagreements and has signed with Hardwell's label, Revealed Recordings.[8]
In July 2016, he founded his own record label, Goldkid Records[9] in which he released the singles "A Thousand Miles"[10] featuring Ruby Prophet and "Midnight Dancers".[11]
