Julio Echenique González (born 27 May 1959 in Pinar del Río) is a Cuban male former weightlifter, who competed in the middleweight class and represented Cuba at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 1981 World Weightlifting Championships in the 75 kg category. He participated at the 1980 Summer Olympics in the 75 kg event.[1] He won gold in the 1979 Pan-American Games Light-Heavyweight class (322.5 kg) and gold in the 1983 Pan-American Games Middleweight class (327.5 kg).
