Junnar taluka is a taluka in Khed subdivision of Pune district of state of Maharashtra in India. It is 1st taluka from the North side of Pune District. Lenadri & Ozar of Astavinayak ganpatis and Shivneri Fort,GMRT (Khodad), Vikram Sarabhai Earth Station and Reda Samadhi at Ale are some most important places in Junnar. There are five main Dam as Yedgaon, Pimapalgaon Joga, ManikDoha, Chilhewadi and Wadaj in this Takula.[1] In Junnar taluka there is an ancient place called as naneghat.It's known for some historical evidence which has been written in bramhi lipi on the walls of caves. Darya Ghat is 25 km from Junnar City, if want to enjoy virgin rains in Junnar one can visit to Darya Ghat. On same height of Malshej Ghat, Nane Ghat with same ecology & same way of refreshing atmosphere darya ghat giving you different experience by its virginity as usually very few visitors are going there to experience the rains. Again Meena River emerging point can hypnotized you by its glory.
