"Just Because" is a song by the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, which was released as the first single from their third album, Strays in 2003.
The song was one of the most successful in the band's history. It was the band's third #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, it charted at #72 on the Billboard Hot 100 which is their only appearance on that chart to date. It is also their first top-ten entry on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, where it reached #4. It also reached #14 on the UK Singles Chart where it is the band's highest charting single.
Music video
The music video features the band playing in a dome shaped room with lights flashing all around the walls and ceilings.
In pop culture
This song appeared in the film S.W.A.T., video game Forza Horizon 2 and documentary Warren Miller's Impact.
