"Just to See Her" peaked at #7 in Cash Box and #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June 1987. It also reached #2 on the R&B chart and hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
In the United Kingdom, the song peaked at #52 on the UK Singles Chart. In addition, Robinson won his first career Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 30th Grammy Awards in 1988.
