The KIIT School Of Biotechnology, (KSBT), is the biotechnology wing of KIIT University. It is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The school is headed by a young and dynamic director Dr. Mrutyuynjay Suar. He has developed a strong research team working on several advanced areas of research including science for society. There are many national and international scientific luminaries including Nobel laureates like Dr. Richard R Ernst and Dr. Rolf M. Zinkernagel are guiding this school. Many others Nobel laureates such as Prof. Oliver Smithies, Prof. Ferid Murad, Prof. Jean Marie Lehn and Prof. Kurt Wutrich also visited and interacted with the students. Currently 34 full times faculties are engaged in research and developing a world class research infrastructure promoting innovation and translation.
