In 1978 when KIOK signed on the air with an Album Oriented Rock format the studios were located at 310 W. Kennewick Ave. At that time the station was owned by Sterling Recreation Organization, (SRO). The site was at 310 W. Kennewick Ave. and was the former site of the historic Benton Theatre which, at the time, was also owned by Sterling Recreation Organization. The station currently broadcasts from 4304 W. 24th in Kennewick, WA.
